This information is collected solely to record the client's digital signature on the Terms of Service, Work Contract and Privacy Policy, and to serve as evidence that the client did indeed place the order and approve the terms. This is a legal requirement under the Israeli Electronic Signature Law, 5761-2001, and helps protect both the client and eMode Digital in case of dispute.

This information is collected only on the checkout/payment screen, and NOT during regular browsing on the site. During regular browsing, our use of IP is limited to anonymous analytics cookies (Google Analytics) only, as described in the Cookies section.
Retention period: The information is retained as long as the order is active, plus an additional period according to legal requirements (typically 7 years, in accordance with documentation and statute of limitations laws). The client is entitled to request access, correction, or deletion of the information in accordance with the rights detailed in the 'User Rights' section above.

Important Clarification: The portfolio is advertising for eMode Digital's services only, and is NOT advertising for the client's business or product. This is not "marketing" of the client, but factual display of work performed. The Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, applies to individuals only and not to corporations/businesses, therefore a business/company has no "right to privacy" under it regarding factual mention of work performed for it.
Legal Basis: (1) Israeli Copyright Law, 5768-2007, Sections 45-46 — the creator's moral right, including the right of attribution, is not transferable; (2) Israeli Trademarks Ordinance [New Version], 5732-1972, Section 47 — fair use of a trademark for factual identification; (3) Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty — commercial freedom of expression and the right of a professional to display their work; (4) An explicit license granted to us by the client upon acceptance of the Terms of Service (Section 5.1). Projects subject to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) will be displayed while respecting confidentiality limitations. A client who wishes their project not to be displayed in the portfolio must arrange this in writing in advance before the project begins, with an additional fee, as detailed in the Terms of Service. A request after the project has been delivered does not bind eMode Digital.
