The Design Challenge
How to create one unified interface combining chat, email, and calls without overwhelming the user? The challenge was balancing numerous requirements (80 screens!) with simplicity of use. Additionally, ensuring all features are technically feasible - not every 'pretty' design can actually be developed. Market research of Slack, Teams, and WhatsApp Business helped understand what works and what doesn't.
The Design Solution
We developed a comprehensive Design System enabling consistency across 80 screens. Divided the app into 5 main modules (Chat, Email, Calls, Support, Settings) with clear navigation. Every component was designed with technical feasibility in mind - weekly meetings with developers ensured the design was implementable. Result: Interactive Prototype that went through 3 revision rounds and received full approval.
